Goods remain the property of Neat-House Interiors until paid in full.
Cancellation of any goods may mean loss of deposit if work has started on the completed article, or delivery to ourselves cannot be stopped.
Orders for goods not held in stock are accepted subject to availability from our suppliers, and no responsibility can be accepted when a supplier discontinues a particular line or range. If the company is unable to supply the goods and/or services within a time in accordance with the Supply of Services Act.
Delivery dates are given in good faith, and based on information supplied to us by our suppliers, and should only be taken as a guide, subject to confirmation on our receipt of goods.
All invoices are net and due on presentation, interest will be charged at 2% per month above the current bank lending rate on any account/invoice which remains unpaid after 30 days.
All pile fabrics are liable to show pile pressure shading. This is a characteristic inherent in all pile fabrics and no care on the part of a manufacturer can entirely eliminate the possibility of occurring. The Customers right to expect satisfactory quality under the Sale of Goods Act is not restricted.
While any money remains owing by the Customer to the Company, title of goods shall remain vested in the Company notwithstanding delivery or passing of risk.
Whilst every care will be exercised by members of the Company when requested to move furniture prior to and during installations, the Company cannot accept responsibility for any breakage or damage. Unless caused by a lack of reasonable care or skill by the Company.
Risk in respect of the goods shall pass upon delivery to the Customer or to the Carrier if transport is arranged by the Customer.
Some difference in colour from sample may be experienced due to variation in dye lots, but such variation will normally be within commercial tolerance. Customers’ rights under The Sale of Goods Act to expect the goods to be described and match the sample are not restricted.
Gas and Water piping also Electrical Wiring – although every care is taken, we cannot be held responsible for any damages to wiring or pipework unless a clear instruction has been given beforehand, especially of the actual position or depth. The company will use reasonable care and skill in accordance with Supply of Goods and Service Act.
We will only work with fabrics ordered through Neat-House Interiors, unless prior agreement with us has been made with our Trade customers.
When Fabrics/Wallpaper only is supplied it is the responsibility of the Customer to check all goods before cutting takes place. We cannot accept any returned goods that have been cut. This does not apply to defects which are not apparent on reasonable examination, this term is not intended to restrict the remedies available under the Sale of Goods Act (as Amended).
